About Our Services

Q: What is Savvy Sips?
A: Savvy Sips is a professional bartending service that provides everything needed to serve drinks at your event—except the alcohol. We offer bartending expertise, drinkware, garnishes, mixers, and a fully customized drink menu, but clients must provide the alcohol.

Q: What does "dry hire" mean?
A: Dry hire means we do not sell or supply alcohol. Instead, you purchase the alcohol separately, and we provide the bartending services. This allows full customization and saves you approximately 25% on liquor costs by avoiding venue or bar markups.

Q: Do you help with purchasing alcohol?
A: Yes! While we cannot supply alcohol, we provide a detailed alcohol shopping list for every event, ensuring you buy the right amount—without overspending or running out.

Q: Do you have a liquor license?
A: No, because we do not sell or provide alcohol. In Maryland, mobile bars cannot supply liquor. However, since you are purchasing the alcohol directly, our services remain fully legal and customizable to your needs.

Booking & Payment

Q: How do I book your services?
A: Simply fill out the booking form on our website, and we’ll get back to you with availability and a customized quote.

Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: Yes, we require a $250 deposit to hold your event date. This is non-refundable. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the event.

Q: What happens if I need to cancel?
A: Cancellations may be subject to a cancellation fee. If you need to reschedule, let us know as soon as possible, and we’ll do our best to accommodate you.

Q: Do you offer mocktails?
A: Yes! We love crafting elegant, flavorful mocktails for guests who prefer non-alcoholic options.

Q: Can you help me figure out how much alcohol to buy?
A: Yes! Every booking includes a detailed alcohol shopping list tailored to your drink menu and guest count, ensuring you purchase the right amount.
